In a time of great corruption and terror, a young girl named Angela has been kidnapped. Her parents hire Travis, a private detective, to investigate the crime boss Kintaro and retrieve Angela. Knowing that the mission is not going to be easy, you as Travis recruit Michelle, Ushi, and Tetsuo to help out. You and up to three of your friends choose from these characters (each with their own special moves and rage attacks), and try to find Angela in the Urban Fighters mode. Other modes include Arena Battle, Shadow Fighter, Street Gang Battle, Team Battle, and Survivor. No matter what mode you play, there are plenty of weapons to use: machine guns, handguns, lead pipes, flame-throwers, rifles, hand grenades, and knives.
